Therapeutic Community |

Residential Treatment is provided in a structured, therapeutic setting, in which clients are closely supervised during waking and sleeping hours. This approach is particularly effective in treating depressive, substance abuse, and behavior disorders, which are usually less responsive to outpatient counseling. In the residential setting, clients earn more privileges for earnest participation in treatment and for appropriate behavior. Drug screens are done at admission, randomly, and after a pass or other off-campus activity to monitor the client’s compliance with program expectations.
The residential program combines education with treatment, so clients can earn school credit while receiving the care they need. We provide a full schedule of activities that begins at 8:00am and ends at 10:00pm each day. Clients attend our on-site school through the early afternoon, after which time they are scheduled for psycho-education; individual, group, and family therapy; and appointments with the psychiatrist.
